What is Snipix?
Snipix is a free tool for capturing web elements — a Chrome extension plus a web Workspace. Pick any element on a page and it packs up the element with its styles, images and fonts, then exports an HTML fragment that looks exactly like the original. Copy or download it and paste it anywhere with the look intact. Everything runs in your browser — no sign-in, nothing uploaded to a server.
Can the exported content be used offline?
Yes. By default it bundles the images and fonts into the file, so it opens even with no connection. If you’d rather keep the file small and reuse the original links, you can switch to a link-only mode.
Do I need to sign in or pay?
It’s completely free right now — no sign-in, and your data is never uploaded to a server. Everything happens right in your browser.
How do I install Snipix?
Click “Add to Chrome” on the Chrome Web Store and you’re set in seconds. Prefer a manual install? Download the .zip and load it from your browser’s extensions page.
Which export formats are supported?
Today it exports a plain HTML fragment you can copy and paste right away. React / Vue / Tailwind output is on the roadmap.
Does Snipix work on Firefox, Safari or Edge?
The extension currently supports Chrome and other same-engine browsers like Edge, Brave and Arc; Firefox and Safari versions are in the works. The exported fragment is standard web code, so it opens in every modern browser.
